Located in the heart of Mission Bay, Kepa Road Cafe is a warm and inviting cafe that seamlessly blends friendly neighborhood charm with a touch of culinary excellence. Nestled at 293 Kepa Road, this hidden gem is more than just a pit stop; it's a destination for food lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a relaxed brunch or grab a quick takeaway, Kepa Road Cafe is sure to delight.

The atmosphere is buzzing with a laid-back vibe, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal or catching up with friends over coffee. Many patrons find solace here after a morning walk, making it a great spot to unwind while sipping one of their noteworthy Latte Over Ice or Americano Over Ice. Or, if you’re in the mood for something fruity, don’t miss out on the Banana Berry Blast smoothie, which is both refreshing and packed with flavor.

Kepa Road Cafe specializes in quintessentially Kiwi breakfast classics, and the customer reviews reflect the joy these dishes bring. From the flavorsome Eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce, to the hearty Mince on Toast topped with a beautifully crafted poached egg, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Nicole Scheid describes it as a superior cafe where attention to detail reigns, illustrating the care that goes into each dish.

For those who appreciate a good cup of coffee, Kepa Road Cafe is touted as home to some of the best brews in Auckland. With options ranging from Flat Whites to Cappuccinos, both warm and iced variants, coffee aficionados will not be disappointed. James Ashwin notes the friendly staff and dog-friendly outdoor seating, making it a welcoming space for all – including your furry friends.

However, there are a couple of quirks to note; some customers have pointed out the snug size of the cafe, which can feel a bit crowded during peak hours, and the uncovered food displays may raise eyebrows regarding hygiene. Yet, these small imperfections are easily overshadowed by the overall delightful experience and quality of food that keeps patrons returning.

In short, Kepa Road Cafe isn't just another cafe; it's a moment of culinary joy wrapped in a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re indulging in a hearty meal or simply savoring a robust cup of coffee, your taste buds will thank you. If you find yourself in Auckland, be sure to make a stop here - your taste experience awaits!

A really nice little cafe, a bit too little when you're lining up at the front counter. The food was good, if not spectacular - poached eggs were nice and runny, holandaise sauce was well made, bacon was good, toast was small. Not sure the uncovered food on the cabinet is the best idea, pretty much at mouth / cough level with anyone waiting at the counter. Suspicious at the lack of prices on the cabinet food as well, never a good sign. The prices for the menu food was on the high side, but nothing else in this area comes close, and the outside area was good. Loved the barnacle plant pot!

I first stumbled across this lovely hidden Gem a year ago, when I was visiting my Girlfriend who used to live nearby and we ended up going there quite often for brunch. They have very lovely classic Kiwi breakfast treats. The Omlette is epic, aswell as they’re Bacon and Egg benedict.. also make it with gluten free bread. Also very good coffee warm or iced, despite staff shortages we‘ve had a lovely friendly service. I‘d highly recommend giving them a go and support Local. Value for money is just right so the average worker can still have the luxurity of one brunch a week. @ Mr Nialls: Just because you‘ve implemented the suffering onto yourself and need to act like most of those Vegans ( and then asking why everyone has a dislike against them ), it’s a bit out of it to give a cafe trying to survive a bad rating for your selfimposed eating habits? There are plenty of decent Vegetarian and Vegan restaurants out there where you will find what you’re looking for. Otherwise I suggest smoking the Herbs it’s better for you. Cheers

One of the most chilled out cafes in Kepa Road, I have been here several times and I’m writing a review having a wonderful brunch. I came to the cafe after a good walk, and was craving for a nice glass of fresh juice which they had, I had the Apple, Orange and Carot pressure juice which was on stop at that moment, the flavors complement very well and only improvement for me in this, if it was a bit more chilled. Then I had a lovely chat with a friend of mine and we had some food. I was looking at the food menu and saw French Toast and was immediately tempted and ordered that. The moment it arrived I was so grilled as the plating was done very nicely. With some fresh fruits and berries and a good portion of syrup. I’m very happy with having this cafe near by which I will definitely visit more often.

Very lucky to have this amazing cafe so close to home. The staff here are always super friendly and you are guaranteed a carpark. Big fan of the mince on toast (add the poached egg) and the eggs Benedict with bacon is a guaranteed winner. Home to some of the best coffee in Auckland with lots of dog friendly seating outside, highly recommend visiting this cafe when you’re in the area next. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales
